Getting to Ashton Gate.
Most supporters find public transport quicker and easier than driving to Bristol City Women matches at Ashton Gate. The stadium is well connected by bus, train, bike and on foot, with limited car parking nearby.
By bus
Ashton Gate is well connected to Bristol and the surrounding area by an extensive public bus network. The easiest way to plan your route is via the TravelWest Journey Planner. Many local services are operated by First Bus.
The stadium is also served by the M2 Long Ashton Park & Ride MetroBus route, just a nine-minute walk from the stadium.

- Bristol Temple Meads: Bristol's mainline station, with direct services across the UK including Wales and Scotland. A 40-minute walk from Ashton Gate, or use matchday Service AG3
- Parson Street: Serves much of Somerset, South Wales and Bristol (around five minutes from Temple Meads). A 15-minute walk to the stadium. Please note Parson Street does not have step-free access
Walking
Ashton Gate is less than 30 minutes' walk from most of south, central and west Bristol. Use the postcode BS3 2EJ to plan your route.
There are many different walking routes to the stadium, use Google Maps to find your way.
Cycling
Ashton Gate is easily reached by bike via Bristol's network of dedicated cycle paths. The stadium has 96 bike rack spaces and a free-to-use bike pump on site.

E-scooters
Electric scooters are not permitted on site and must be parked in an appropriate area outside the stadium, taking care not to block entrances, exits or pavements.
DOTT is the only authorised e-scooter operator in Bristol. Users must comply with the law and consider their speed around the stadium on matchdays. We have a dedicated DOTT e-bike parking space on Ashton Road as well as multiple parking locations within the stadium's vicinity.
By car
Most supporters find public transport quicker and easier than driving. Many local streets are covered by Resident Parking Schemes, and central Bristol, including many roads near Ashton Gate, is part of the Clean Air Zone (CAZ), where non-compliant vehicles will be charged between £9 and £100 per day.
For electric vehicle drivers, Zapmap provides a live map of EV charging points in the area.
Official parking
Our official onsite parking is available at either Winterstoke Road Car Park or the old Wickes unit (accessible via Winterstoke Road). Both sites are operated by YourParkingSpace and must be booked in advance at www.yourparkingspace.co.uk.
You will need your booking confirmation on the gate. Please check which site you have been allocated.

By boat
Bristol Ferry Boats run a waterbus service from Temple Meads to stops near the stadium between 10:00 and 17:00 daily. The service stops at SS Great Britain and The Cottage Landing (a 15-minute walk to Ashton Gate).
Number Seven Boat Trips also operate a cross-harbour ferry between Hannover Quay and SS Great Britain. The SS Great Britain stop is an 18-minute walk to Ashton Gate.
By air
Bristol Airport is just 15 minutes' drive from the stadium. The Airport Flyer A1 service stops at Parson Street, a 15-minute walk away.

If travelling by train, please be aware that Parson Street station does not have step-free access. The closest station with step-free access is Bedminster. Alternatively, you can reach Bristol Temple Meads and use public bus routes.
