The hosts fashioned the first chance of the game as the ball broke for Mead in the City box, she rifled a shot on goal but Baggaley was hand to beat the ball away at her near post.
Arsenal then raced into a two-goal lead in the space of three minutes. First, Evans headed home Miedema’s cross for the opener and soon after Williamson also put the ball into the back of the net, Miedema again the provider.
Miedema scored her first of six after peeling off her marker before checking back in and finding the bottom corner. The striker completed her hat-trick before the first up was up, twice converting Lisa Evans’ crosses.

City Women scored a consolation from the spot after Daniels was taken down by Zinsberger and the Belgian stepped up and pulled a goal back at the second attempt after her initial penalty was saved.
