City returned to winning ways with a well-deserved victory at table-topping Birmingham City.

Lexi Lloyd-Smith and Ffion Morgan found that net in the first half before Jamie-Lee Napier netted her first Bristol City goal early in the second.

The Robins couldn't quite hang on to the clean sheet, conceding via an Ellie Mason strike late on.

The first chance of the afternoon fell the way of Lloyd-Smith, who capitalised on a defensive mix-up to take the ball round goalkeeper Lucy Thomas and finish into an empty net after four minutes.

Fran Bentley was then called into action after 16 minutes as she produced a smart save to deny the hosts, springing off her line to smother in a crowded area.

A minute later, Morgan turned her effort wide after Emily Syme's cutback from the left.

City bagged their second of the afternoon six minutes from the interval, Morgan finishing with aplomb after the hosts failed to clear Lloyd-Smith's cross.

Less than two minutes after the restart, it was three.

Lloyd-Smith saw her header saved by Thomas, but Napier was on hand to smash home the rebound at the far post.

Birmingham pulled one back in stoppage time as Mason turned home from a corner, but it was too-little-too-late for Blues.
