City fell to defeat on the final day of the Barclays Women's Super League campaign as Everton hit four in BS3.

Katja Snoeijs, Sara Holmgaard, Emma Bissell and Martina Piemonte all found the target, the Toffees striking twice in each half.

Despite an impressive and postive start to proceedings for Lauren Smith's side, the visitors took the lead after 16 minutes as Snoeijs fired home from the edge of the area.

It was soon two as Holsmgaard fired into the side netting on the pull-back.

Just minutes into the second half and the game was out of reach for the Robins, their former player Bissell popping up to score from a deep cross.

City tried to find a way back into the encounter, going close through top scorer Amalie Thestrup who was inches from connecting with Ffion Morgan's cross after 70 minutes, but to no avail.

Deep into stoppage time and it was four, Piemonte tucking home from inside the area.
