What happened?
The game started slowly with both teams struggling to create chances as they battled to hold possession, but it was Salmon who had City’s first opportunity when she took aim for the near post, but Rebecca Spencer was equal to her effort.
An audacious backheel from Salmon played Yana Daniels through on goal, however the Belgian was impeded in the box and won the Robins a penalty 38 minutes in.
Chloe Logarzo stepped up and sent the ‘keeper the wrong way – slotting home calmly to give City a 1-0 lead.
It was the Australian’s fourth goal of the season, making her City’s top goal scorer of the campaign.
Logarzo nearly made it two moments after when her first-time effort from Bissel’s cross was deflected inches past the near post.
Spurs equalised not long after however through a smart free-kick from Siri Worm. The 28-year-old’s wide free-kick was sent towards the far corner and it looped over Baggaley to draw the game level.
Tottenham took the lead 15 minutes into the second half when Worm’s free-kick was met by Ashleigh Neville’s header from the centre of the box to give the visitors the lead.
Emma Bissell was denied the chance to make it 2-2 when her blocked cross kindly fell back into her path, however her near post effort was smothered by Spencer and out for a corner.
Spurs saw their side reduced to 10 players when substitute Rianna Dean collided with Baggaley. Both players were down receiving treatment for a while before the referee deemed the challenge dangerous, and she was given her marching orders.
Spurs couldn’t have come closer to getting their third when Worm’s long-range free-kick rifled the bar and bounced onto the goal-line - ensuing a goalmouth scramble - but Baggaley made a brave save on the line and eventually was fouled.
City brought the game level in the third minute of added time when Jemma Purfield’s long ball was brought down brilliantly by Salmon, who shuffled the ball onto her right and half-volleyed the ball past Spencer into the bottom-right corner.
City pushed for the winner but were unable to find another chance as the game fished 2-2.

With the end of added time fast approaching, City were in search of something special to get themselves the vital goal that will earn them a point.
Step up, Ebony Salmon.
93 minutes in, the striker raced forward to latch onto Purfield’s long ball and was strong in the air to knock away the Spurs defender before bringing the ball down onto her right foot.
She patiently waited for the ball to bounce in her favour before drilling her effort past the ‘keeper into the bottom corner of the net, ensuing an outbreak of celebrations on the pitch.
Player of the Match: Ebony Salmon
A strong display in every position on the pitch tonight, however Salmon was on another level.
The striker didn’t stop running all evening, and her constant pressure on the Spurs backline paid off when she got City’s equaliser, and her second goal in as many games.
