Report: Sheffield United 0-4 Bristol City.

What happened?
It was a positive start for Bristol City after Ebony Salmon was able to latch onto a perfectly weighted long ball from Jemma Purfield and lob the onrushing ‘keeper, however the effort fell just wide of the near post.
The Robins were denying the home side any clear-cut chances and frustrating the United frontline; however the Red Devils broke the deadlock 25 minutes in when Leah Galton’s thunderous effort from the edge of the box found the top right corner.
The goal came after some patient build-up play around the City box, and the long-range strike from Galton was venomous - leaving Baggaley with no chance.
It was nearly two for United minutes later after Tobin Heath was played through on goal, but Baggaley stood strong and made a brilliant reaction save from close range.
The league leaders doubled their lead on the brink of half-time when Millie Turner rose highest in the box to meet Katie Zelem’s corner, and her header into the ground bounced up into the roof of the net.
Like the first half, City started the second period on the front foot and almost pulled a goal back through Salmon.
Yana Daniels intercepted a pass from United and her long ball was met by the striker who managed to get past her defender and blast an effort goalward, but Earps was equal to the effort and palmed the shot away from danger.
It was 3-0 to the home side moments later when Jessica Sigworth tapped in from close range.
Sigworth went down in the box from Zelem’s corner as she appealed for a penalty, however the ball was headed to the feet of the forward who managed to get to her feet and sweep the ball into the net from close range.
Galton doubled her tally for the afternoon and added a fourth for her side when her rifled effort found the top corner.
The winger received the ball on the left-hand side and in what looked to be a cross – she drilled the ball past Baggaley from the tightest of angles and into the top corner.
Charlie Wellings had two chances in quick succession to pull a goal back for the Robins, her first from a tight angle as she rattled the post and her second from close range when she picked up the ball in the centre of the box, but Earps got down quickly and made a good save to deny the winger.
City got their goal with just under 20 minutes left through Ebony Salmon.
The striker raced through on goal and found herself one-on-one with Eaprs who made a good save to deny Salmon first-time round, however the former United attacker was quickest to react as she picked up the loose ball, swivelled, and fired her effort past the ‘keeper into the empty net from the edge of the box.
Tobin Heath made it five for United with just under 10 minutes to go when she met a loose ball with a first-time shot from 30-years-out, nestling into the top corner.
Heath then got her second and United’s sixth two minutes later after a nice bit of skill on the right-hand side of the box set herself up to drive a shot across goal and into the bottom corner.
