City put on a show for the 3,000+ fans at Ashton Gate on Sunday afternoon, where a first half own goal and second half double from Abi Harrison and Aggie Beever-Jones handed the Robins a 3-0 victory.
Beever-Jones’ strike was the standout of the goals, and the winger has commended the large attendance in BS3 for helping them to the important victory.
“We've been working really hard all week to get the three points, so to win three points with a performance like that is really good for us,” said Beever-Jones.
“After the game against Coventry we realised that we need to put our foot on the pedal, so today we came out all guns blazing, smashed it, and we got three points. The fans are always brilliant today, they gave us that extra push that we needed.”
