Two City players shortlisted for Goal of the Season award.

Club captain Vicky Losada and Jessie Gale have both been shortlisted for the Barclays WSL2 Goal of the Season award.

Losada’s winning goal against Durham was voted the Barclays WSL2 Goal of the Month for October.

The brilliantly-worked team goal started from the back with Fran Bentley, before eventually finding Losada in the penalty area to head home from close range. It sealed a 2-1 victory for the Robins at Ashton Gate.

Jessie Gale's debut goal against debut goal against Nottingham Forest was voted the Barclays WSL2 Goal of the Month for January.

Sophie Ingle’s superb long ball, was well latched onto by Gale who chipped her effort over Forest’s Emily Batty. 

It rounded off a 4-2 victory for the Robins at the City Ground.
