The 21-year-old was an ever present in the league, captaining Lauren Smith's side to victory in front of over 7,000 in BS3 as the Robins clinched promotion to the top flight.

"I’m delighted to sign a new deal with City, especially after such a brilliant campaign last year," said Bentley.

"Lifting the trophy in front of the fans at Ashton Gate is something I’ll never forget and I’m already looking forward to making more memories with this brilliant group.

"I feel I’ve developed as a player and a person during my time with the club and I can’t wait for the next chapter as we return to the Women’s Super League."
