Bristol City welcome Sheffield United to Ashton Gate on Sunday, March 30th (2pm).
Steve Kirby is looking for a reaction from his side who are without a win in four league games, since the 3-1 win over Birmingham in January.
Ffion Morgan scored with a lovely header against Blackburn Rovers last week, her first goal since that win over The Blues, and she’ll be hoping to pick up from where she left off ahead of this one.
OUR OPPONENTS: SHEFFIELD UNITED
Founded: 2002
Stadium: Bramall Lane
Nickname: The Blades
Manager: Ash Thompson
Finish Last Season: 7th
Sheffield United have been a mainstay in the Barclays Women’s Championship, as they come towards the end of their eighth successive season in the second tier.
The Blades finished second in the 2018/19 season, their only real push for promotion over their stay in the Championship, but have been consistently mid-table otherwise and have never been in palpable danger of the drop before.
This season has proved to be difficult for Ash Thompson’s side however, and The Blades have it all to do with four games to go, finding themselves bottom of the table, two points adrift of Blackburn.
