On Wednesday February 25th, City Women invited the winners of the local qualifiers for the Premier League Primary Stars National Girls Football Tournament 2026 to the Robins High Performance Centre.
Girls from St Peter's Primary School visited the training ground for a tour followed by lunch alongside their favourite players.
The girls asked for tips and tricks from the squad, learning more about how to keep their cool under pressure, and what it's like to be a professional footballer.
A teacher from St Peter's Primary School shared the impact the trip had on the girls ahead of their next round of the tournament.
“My girls loved it and said it was the best experience.
"It really did mean a lot to them and with the competition tomorrow, it has set them up perfectly. "
Robins Foundation Community Engagement Lead, Roza Bailey said,
“After a positive experience chatting to the squad at our recent Foundation event, it was lovely to be able to follow up so quickly with a community engagement.
"The players and girls alike really enjoyed their time together, chatting and laughing the whole time. It was nice for City players to see so clearly the impact they can have on their local community.”
