Jasmine Bull has been named Bristol City Women’s FC Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Community Champion 2023, winning the accolade for the second year running.
This week Bull was presented with her award by programme participant Ami at a pan disability session held at Imperial Sports Ground.
Academy graduate Bull regularly supports Project Inc, the Foundation's pan disability programme which provides an opportunity for both young people and adults with disabilities.
The midfielder has developed a great relationship with the participants, and most notably organised matchday hospitality at Ashton Gate earlier in the year.
Bull said: “I feel privileged to receive the community champion of the year award. Being from Bristol, having a relationship with the community is important to me and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be able to give something back.
"I've enjoyed getting involved with the community again this year. I've particularly enjoyed the pan disability sessions, building relationships with the group, they are a great bunch of inspirational people who I am lucky to spend time with.”
Dan White, Bristol City Robins Foundation Chief Executive Officer, thanked the midfielder for her support, saying: "Jasmine is a great advocate of the work the Foundation does in the community. Not only has she thrown herself into all that we do but she has grown a strong relationship with our pan disability participants.
"To be named as the community champion for the second year in a row is a testament to her and we thank her for the continued support and involvement."
