The twenty-year-old defender spent the 2020/21 campaign with last year’s champions, Leicester City.

Cataldo said: “Bristol City have shown real ambition with the players they have brought in this summer and with the move to the High Performance Centre for all home games.

“I’ve been in with the group for a few weeks now and all the players and staff have made me feel at home already, which is great as a new player coming into a club.

“I had my first run out in front of the fans last weekend against Lewes– they made a lot of noise and I’m looking forward to seeing them fill up the stands this season.”

Cataldo arrived at the Foxes in 2019 having formally spent seasons in the academy set-ups at Millwall and Arsenal.

The full-back, who has also represented the Young Lionesses at the Under-19 level, was involved in City Women’s entertaining pre-season fixture against Lewes FC last weekend.

City Women supporters can still bag their 2021/22 Season Card ahead of the first league of the season against Lewes FC Women on Sunday, September 5th (3pm KO)
