City become Team Ambassador for Jessie May.

Bristol City are pleased to announce that we have become the first Team Ambassador of Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home.

Jessie May do incredible work to provide the very best care and support possible, at home, for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their whole families – for the whole journey in life, at the end of life, and in bereavement.

“We’re delighted to be ambassadors for Jessie May,” said City's Jamie-Lee Napier.

“When the team and I first went to visit the charity not many of us knew much about it but we were immediately inspired and wanted to know more when we met the amazing nurses, staff and everyone involved.

“Hearing what Jessie May is all about and the work they do behind the scenes with the families is truly incredible.

“We especially loved when some of the families came to our game against Liverpool at Ashton Gate. It was amazing to meet them and hear their stories and just talk and get to know one another.”

The partnership will see City play a role in supporting their brilliant work by participating in vital fundraising and elevating Jessie May’s platform and public visibility.

Jessie May have been providing free specialist at home support since 1996, and it is only through the generosity of their supporters that they can continue to be there for families for many years to come.
