City sign Earl until January.

City Women can announce highly-rated youngster Maddy Earl has signed on a dual registration basis with Arsenal, ahead of the season opener of the Barclays Women’s Championship.

The attacking midfielder joins the Robins until January after spending pre-season with Arsenal’s first team on their pre-season tour.

Earl, who has also represented England at Under-19 level said on joining City: “It feels amazing to be here and the club has been so welcoming, and it just feels great.

“I like to be unpredictable and bring creativity, so I hope I can add something new to the team and we can get the win on Sunday.”

Interim Head Coach Loren Dykes added: “She is an exciting player, that will add creativity to our attacking play. She is young and still learning but this club is great at nurturing young talent, so we cannot wait to work with her.”
