The 27-year-old British national spent time with Chelsea, Reading and Portsmouth as a youth before spells at Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv and Hapoel Kfar Saba in Israel, Russian clubs Kuban Krasnodar and Mordovia Saransk.
He joined FK Bodø/Glimt in March 2019 and has made 121 appearances while also being called up to the Russian national squad, sitting on the bench for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Cyprus and Croatia in November 2020.

Haikin trained with the City first team squad today and his availability to play is subject to international clearance.
“It’s always been my goal to return to England so I am really happy to be here,” said Haikin.
“The facilities are fantastic and I’m delighted that I’m going to be using them and making the most of them. I’m looking forward to challenging myself and joining a very competitive league. I want to give 100 per cent and my best for Bristol City.”
