An option to extend the full-back’s stay at the club was exercised, meaning the 20-year-old will see out the second year of her contract.

The Academy Product penned her first professional deal at the SGS College Stoke Gifford Stadium in June 2018 and has represented the Lionesses at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level.

“I’m delighted my stay at Bristol City has been extended, said Allen.

“The club gave me my first professional contract back in 2018 and have been great in supporting me to develop both as a footballer and as a person, whilst I have been undertaking a university degree.

“I’m very thankful for the continual support both on and off the pitch and I’m excited to get back and kick on this season.”

Manager, Tanya Oxtoby said: "Flo is another one of our young English players that has come through the Academy pathway and progressed into the first team to compete in the Barclays FAWSL.

"I’m looking forward to working with Flo in the coming season to continue her development both on and off the field, and to try and help fulfil her potential."
