Bristol City Women and Ashton Gate Stadium have partnered with Natracare, the leading provider of plastic-free period products.
Natracare will supply free products to City Women at their Robins High Performance Centre training base and to Ashton Gate Stadium, ensuring that girls and women attending matchdays and non-matchdays are fully supported.
Natracare Account Manager Amber Thorne said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with the Bristol City Women’s team this season as sponsors and also providers of free, sustainable period products in the Ashton Gate toilets to help tackle period poverty.
“We love to see women and girls fulfilling their sporting dreams and a big part of supporting that mission is providing an equal playing field with access to period products, so no staff, fans, players or stadium visitors are ever caught short.”
Bristol Sport’s Chief Commercial Officer Sarah Farrar said: "We are pleased to welcome Natracare as both a partner of Bristol City Women and a valued supplier to Ashton Gate. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to sustainability and supporting women in sport. It’s fantastic to align with a brand that supports positive change, and we look forward to building a strong relationship both on and off the pitch."
Ashton Gate now has free dispensers in stadium toilets and Head Of Housekeeping Elina Plesuma added: "We’re proud to welcome Natracare as a supplier of Ashton Gate as we continue to support women and girls attending the stadium. Natracare commitment to sustainability also aligns with our ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact across Ashton Gate in line with Project Whitebeam."
Natracare’s commitment to reduce plastic footprints with biodegradable menstrual products using natural materials and 100 per cent certified organic cotton is in tune with Bristol Sport’s Project Whitebeam to recognise, measure and mitigate the Group’s impact on the environment.
