Bristol City Women are delighted to announce a new partnership with football data specialists OneTwo Technology.
Following the launch of the club’s new women’s football strategy, where data and insights act as key enablers which underpin the strategy, Bristol City Women have agreed a new partnership with data analysts OneTwo Technology.
The partnership sees OneTwo Technology working with Bristol City Women to build a bespoke digital platform enabling the club to consolidate their various data sets from academy to first team with a particular focus on supporting the club to develop their recruitment and scouting strategy.
Bristol City’s Head of Women’s Football Romaney Pinnock said “As the game evolves, it is vital we can efficiently use the information available to us to make informed decisions and gain a competitive advantage. We have an innovative partner in OneTwo Technology.and they are as eager as we are to find new and effective ways to enhance our programme through data.”
Michelle Yeowell, Head of Player Recruitment at Bristol City Women said “A key pillar of our talent management strategy is to gain a competitive advantage by leveraging leading technology.
“This partnership delivers a bespoke platform which sources global data to provide tailored information to empower both our insight and decision making across the academy pathway and first team landscape.”
Yeowell went on to say: “Creation of a customised platform, exploiting our own and our partner expertise, will undoubtedly enable the realisation of our strategic ambition and provide a powerful talent management capability.”
OneTwo Technology will spend time within the training and matchday environment to develop bespoke platforms and processes that meet the needs of the club.
OneTwo Technology Co-Director Kate Jones said “We are excited to be partnering with Bristol City. Our experience delivering projects in the men’s game and across national associations and governing bodies has clearly demonstrated the impact that analysis and insight can have, but we also recognise women’s football operates with different processes and challenges. “This is one of the reasons we’re so keen on this project—to build a platform specifically for the women's game that ultimately helps drive efficiency and strengthens decision making.”
Co-Director Hannah Roberts said: “What has really stood out to us is the energy and passion from everyone at Bristol City. From our first conversations, it was clear that they’re as committed as we are to pushing boundaries and thinking creatively about the future of women’s football.
“Their approach to the game, combined with their openness to innovation, aligns perfectly with our vision of how data and technology can empower teams, players, and staff. We know that the people are the key to success in any data project, so to have such a great team across this project is exciting. We’re confident that this partnership will not only benefit Bristol City but also contribute to the broader development of the women’s game.”
