The 49 year-old arrives from Birmingham City Women and brings a wealth of experience to Oxtoby’s backroom staff.
Speaking of his new role, Elliott said: “First of all it’s great to be here. It was an honour and privilege to be approached and asked to be a part of Tanya’s backroom team.
“I made a decision to leave my role at Birmingham, there was awareness of my situation from Bristol City then Tanya and I had a conversation where she sold me her project and it was a no brainer for me to come and join the team.
“I’m really looking forward to working with both Sophie and Eartha to develop them further, and adding to their already impressive skillset.
“I’ve previously worked with Sophie in my time in the England Youth set-up, so I am well aware of her talent and capabilities, and she’s the started the season well against Brighton at the weekend.
“I feel as though I have come in at the right time - it’s great to be in and around the group now. With the calibre of players we have in the squad and the support we’re going to give them, I’m sure we’re going to have a very strong season.”
