City Women duo nominated for End of Season Awards.

GOAL OF THE SEASON: Yana Daniels

Daniels’ stunning strike against Brighton and Hove Albion back in January has shortlisted for goal of the season.

The Belgian opened the scoring at Twerton Park with an audacious strike from 30-yards in which rattled the underside fo the bar before crashing over the line.

City would go on to win the contest 3-0 and record their win of the season.

SAVE OF THE SEASON: Sophie Baggaley

Baggaley has had yet another stand-out season and could well have a number of saves shortlisted, however her unbelievable stop from Jordan Nobbs back in October has made the list.

The showstopper was on fire at Meadow Park that afternoon making a number of stand-out stops to thwart the Gunners’ star-studded frontline and the save to deny Nobbs’ venomous volley was the pick of the bunch.
