England Under-23s

Mari Ward, Lexi Lloyd Smith and Jessie Gale have all received call-ups to represent England Under-23s in the international break.

Lloyd-Smith netted The Young Lionesses' only goal in a 1-0 win over France in the European WU23 Competition on Monday, March 2nd.

Gale was also introduced from the substitutes bench to make her Under-23's debut.

Smith's side scored a late equaliseragainst the Netherlands in a 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury Town's Croud Meadow Stadium on Friday, March 6th with Lloyd-Smith, Ward and Gale all featuring as second-half substitutes.

England Under-20s

Vera Jones has been selected to represent England Under-20s with John Salamon's side heading to Spain for a trio of matches.

The Young Lionesses first faced hosts Spain on Saturday, February 28th.

Vera Jones scored a consolation for England in a 3-1 defeat before playing 71 minutes in a 1-0 win over the Netherlands on Tuesday, March 3rd and 70 minutes against Mexico on Friday, March 7th.

Wales

A quartet of City Women stars have also been selected to represent Wales.

Sophie Ingle, Ella Powell, Esther Morgan and Tianna Teisar have all been selected for fixtures against Czechia and Montenegro.

Ingle played the full 90 minutes in the 2-2 against Czechia before scoring the fourth in a 6-1 win over Montenegro.

Morgan made a second-half substitute appearance against Czechia, while Powell was an unused substitute in both fixtures.

Northern Ireland

Jackie Burns has been selected to represent Northern Ireland for this international window.

Burns captained the side and played the full 90 minutes of the 2-0 UEFA Women's World Cup qualifier defeat against Switzerland on Tuesday, March 3rd and was named as a substitute against Turkey on Sunday, March 8th.

Hungary

Lauren Brzykcy has been selected to represent Hungary in the upcoming break.

Brzykcy played every minute in a 0-0 draw with Andorra and 1-0 win over Azerbaijan.



Poland

Oliwia Woś has been has been named in Poland’s squad for their upcoming 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

Poland have been placed in Group B, alongside France, the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland.

Wós played the full 90 minutes in both the 2-2 draw against the Netherlands and the 4-1 defeat against France.

Malta

Maria Farrugia has been selected to represent Malta for their 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifiers.

Farrugia scored for Malta in a 4-1 defeat against Switzerland after a 3-0 defeat against Turkey earlier in the week.

Chile

Camilla Sáez has been selected to represent Chile for this international break.

After being an unused substitute against the United States of American and the first friendly with Paraguay, Sáez played the full 90 minutes the 1-0 win over Paraguay on Saturday, March 7th.
