City Women International Watch: April 2021.

Below is a list detailing each player called up for international duty and those respective fixtures.

Laura Rafferty (Northern Ireland)

• W 2-1 v Ukraine (ECP). Laura Rafferty made her first international appearance in two years after being introduced as a second half substitute as Northern Ireland took a giant stride towards 2021 European Championship qualification. Simon Magill netted a second half winner to put Northern Ireland in the driving seat heading into the second leg of their play-off tie.
• W 2-0 v Ukraine (ECP). Rafferty was named in the starting line-up for Northern Ireland as they made history and qualified for their first ever major tournament. The centre back completed ninety minutes as goals Marissa Callaghan and Nadene Caldwell secured their place at the 2022 European Championships.

Gemma Evans (Wales) 

• L 0-3 v Canada (Friendly). Evans played 90 minutes at the heart of the Welsh defence in their three-goal loss to the Maple Leafs. 
• D 1-1 v Denmark. Evans was yet again a rock at the back for Wales as they managed to hold Denmark to a 1-1 draw at the Cardiff City Stadium. Jess Fishlock finished off a stunning team goal to cancel out Pernille Harder's opener.

Ella Mastantonio

• L 5-2 v Germany. Mastrantonio was an unused substitute in the Matildas defeat as they returned to action for the first time since March 2020. 
• L 5-0 v Netherlands. The Matildas fell to another heavy defeat against one of the European heavyweights, however Mastrantonio was introduced to proceedings in the 79th minute as she completed her return to the international stage after a prolonged absence.
