Keep up to date with how the City Women's stars fare over the first international window of 2024. 

ENGLAND

Naomi Layzell has been called-up to Emma Coates’ Under-23 training camp in Spain. 

While on camp Layzell was invited to train with the Lionesses on Wednesday who are also on camp in Spain. 

The 19-year-old played the first 45 minutes in a 3-1 defeat to Spain on Thursday, February 22nd  (1-1 HT). 

Emma Coates’ side will face the Netherlands in a European League fixture on Monday, February 26th (12pm GMT). 

Mari Ward linked up with the Under-19 squad for the Algarve Cup.

Brooke Aspin and Mari Ward linked up with England’s U19 squad who will face France on Saturday, February 24th (3pm) and Norway on Tuesday, February 27th (1pm). 

WALES

Ffion Morgan, Ella Powell, Carrie Jones, and Olivia Clark will join Cymru for a friendly against the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday, February 27th (7:30pm). 

Youngster Tianna Teisar has spent the week with Cymru U19’s, starting in a 5-1 defeat to Scotland. 

Teisar has earned her first Cymru senior call-up and will also travel to Dublin for Tuesday’s game. 

SCOTLAND

Jamie-Lee Napier, Amy Rodgers and Lisa Evans have been named in a 23-player Scotland side for the 2024 Pinatar Cup. 

The City trio have travelled to Spain to face the Philippines on Saturday, February 24th. The winner of that game will face either Slovenia or Finland, with the losing teams battling for third spot in the second of two fixtures on Tuesday, February 27th

Abi Harrison misses out with a sprained ankle. 

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Megan Connolly joins the Republic of Ireland for a friendly against Wales on Tuesday, February 27th

DENMARK

Amalie Thestrup has been called up to the Denmark national team for the first time since 2019. 

Denmark will play a home fixture against Austria on Wednesday, February 28th
