All the latest from the October international window involving our City Women stars.

England Under-19s

Vera Jones, Olivia Johnson and Issi Hebard are all part of Lauren Smith's squad for the Women's Under-19 European Championship qualifiers.

In the opening match against Estonia, the Young Lionesses ran out 6-0 winners. Chelsea loanee Jones was on the scoresheet, while Issi Hebard started in Tallin.

In their second match, Olivia Johnson scored the first goal following a 4-0 victory over Greece.

The Young Lionesses then drew 1-1 with Austria to secure their place in round two of qualifying. Vera Jones started and played an hour, while Issi Hebard came on in the 16th minute for Lauryn Thompson.

Wales

Sophie Ingle and Tianna Teisar (who is currently on loan at Plymouth) are both in the squad for two friendly matches for Cymru against Australia and Poland.

Ingle played 90 minutes against Australia in a narrow 2-1 defeat. This match was a friendly celebrating the career of Jess Fishlock, who played her final game for her country. She left the field in the 90th minute and was replaced by Tiesar who made her senior debut.

Teisar then started against Poland and played 45 minutes, with Ingle getting the whole of the second half in the 5-2 defeat.

England Under-23s

Both Lexi Lloyd-Smith and Mari Ward were substitutes in the 5-0 defeat to Germany. Lloyd-Smith played the final 13 minutes.

England then hosted Portugal at Sixfield and played out a 1-1 draw. Ward played the full 90 minutes, and Lloyd-Smith was an unused substitute.

Malta

Maria Farrugia played 90 minutes against Belarus in the first of two friendlies against the side. In the second, Farrugia played 85 minutes in the narrow 1-0 defeat.

Republic of Ireland

Jess Ziu was an unused substitute in the 4-2 win over Belgium in the UEFA Women's Nations League play-off first leg. The nation secured promotion to League A with a 5-4 aggregate win in the Nations League play-off. Ziu was also in the squad for the second leg in which Belgium edged it 2-1.

Algeria

Marine Dafeur scored a free kick in a 2-1 victory over Cameroon in the Women's AFCON qualifiers. She scored her second in as many games to secure their place at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Chile

Camila Sáez played for Chile in their 0-0 draw with Venezuela and the 5-0 win over Bolivia.
