Bristol City are delighted to announce the launch of the club's three-year women’s football strategy, which outlines the club’s vision, mission, targets and how they plan to achieve their strategic objectives.

The club-wide vision to Grow Together, Play At The Highest Level and Inspire Our Community is at the heart of the strategy which was shared with key stakeholders at a launch event ahead of the Portsmouth game at Ashton Gate.

City Women ran out 1-0 winners and a host of guests were invited to a presentation of the club’s new strategy delivered by City's Head of Women's Football Romaney Pinnock and Bristol Sport CEO and City Women Chairman Gavin Marshall.

The presentation was followed by a discussion and Q&A with Gavin Marshall, Bristol Bears General Manager Daisie Mayes and Holly Murdoch, COO of Women's Professional Leagues Limited, discussing the future opportunities and trends across women’s sport.

The Club is committed to its long-standing excellence of creating a player pathway, commercial growth, creating an unrivalled matchday experience and inspiring the community through player appearances and storytelling.

Gavin Marshall said: "The women's game is evolving at a rapid pace and this strategy sets us up for success. We are proud of our journey so far and will continue to play a key role in growing the game in Bristol and the South West."

Romaney Pinnock added: "While we strive for footballing excellence, we will grow the game holistically by also focusing on off-field success, showcasing stories and supporting our local community."
