City Women set to welcome over 200 young female footballers to next week's annual junior tournament.

Goals Bristol North will play host on Saturday, March 24th.

29 teams from Bristol and the surrounding areas have entered, the tournament aims to celebrate grassroots football in the area.

City Women captain Millie Turner said: “Inspiring the young female footballers of the future is something that we try and do on a daily basis on and off of the pitch.

“The number of teams attending this tournament is testament to the hard work the club is doing within the Bristol community and surrounding areas with the help of Bristol Sport. 

"All of the players that participate in the tournament will be at the game against Manchester City the next day too, which will be a fantastic occassion.”

for Sunday, March 25^th when the Vixens face Manchester City (kick-off 12:30pm).
