Following the announcement of the expansion of the alcohol in the bowl pilot, Bristol City Women can confirm the club will continue to take part.

Fans will be able to drink alcohol in their seats for women’s first team home league games throughout the 2025/26 WSL2 season.

An initial version of the trial took place at Ashton Gate, as well as at Birmingham City, Newcastle United and Southampton's home fixtures, during the second half of the 2024/25 campaign. Following consultation with the Supporters Club and Trust, Bristol City will continue to be a part of this trial.

Following the conclusion of the initial pilot, the WSL evaluated the results of the trial with no reported safety incidents. You can read more detail about the feedback here.

Bristol Sport CEO and Bristol City Women Chair Gavin Marshall said: “We are pleased to continue this trial after what was a hugely successful period at Ashton Gate last season.

"The feedback was extremely positive, and we will continue our hard work to elevate our already great matchday experience.”
