City Women to host Newcastle Women at Ashton Gate.

City fans will be able to see Charlotte Healy’s Robins in action for the very first time at Ashton Gate on Sunday, August 31^st.

City will host fellow Women’s Super League 2 side Newcastle Women at 2pm, in a pre-season friendly, as preparations continue for the 2025/26 season.

Becky Langley led the Magpies to a fifth place finish last season, following promotion in the 2023/24 season.

Meanwhile, this summer has been a busy one for Healy who has made eight signings – including Champions League winner Vicky Losada and eight-time Women’s Super League Champion Sophie Ingle, with the club looking to push for promotion.

WSL2 has potentially three promotion places up for grabs, with the top two sealing automatic promotion to the WSL and third place taking on the bottom side in the WSL for a chance to seal their spot in the top division of women’s football.

For this friendly, tickets will be available in the Dolman Stand.

This match will be included in season ticket packages, with supporters able to claim a free ticket for the Dolman Stand.

Tickets will be £5 for non-season ticket holders, with Under-12s priced at just £1.

These prices do not include the booking fee, which is £1 per ticket, including £1 for Under-19s. Under-12s tickets do not have a booking fee.
