The U21s squad play in the Women's Super League Academy, and offer players the opportunity for a dual career, combining both education and playing football.

The mission and vision of our Club is to create a first team squad built on a core of home-grown talent, with the first team squad currently boasting 12 players from the pathway - a testament to the success it brings.

Our full-time programme includes:

  • Elite-level training from UEFA A-Licensed coaches
  • A comprehensive fixture programme within the FA WSL Academy League
  • A programme where players can access 10-15 hours of contact time per week
  • Full Bristol City playing, training and travel kit

We also offer access to a highly dedicated group of staff who will work with the player to develop them both on and off the pitch. Staff disciplines covers technical, strength and conditioning, analysis, performance psychology, nutrition, education, lifestyle support and elite player care.

Each player will receive a bespoke programme that will make them a more well rounded athlete.

Our pathway has a number of partnerships including SGS College who are the main education provider for our players. We work closely with SGS College to ensure our players are achieving their potential both academically as well as on the pitch.  This includes a bespoke training plan that fits in and around training time, 1:1 sessions with tutors and weekly meetings with our player care lead to ensure they are remaining on track.

Check out the full range of SGS courses HERE.

If your player is born outside of the designated age group and would like to trial for a younger team within our pathway, we will be planning to host trials for these age groups in June. Please keep an eye out on our website and social media pages for more information over the coming months.
