City Women will continue to play their home games at Ashton Gate next season, with Season Tickets on sale now.
Despite relegation from the Barclays Women’s Super League, the club is committed to playing at the stadium, which has seen an average attendance of more than 7,000 per game this season, and keeping affordable prices for supporters.
The Adult price for 11 Championship matches is £85 (£8 per game) with a Family ticket for two adults and two Under-19s £225 (just £20 per game for a family of four), while individual Under-19 and Under-12 Season Tickets are £55 (£5 a game). Under-12s, including those on a Family ticket, will receive a free outfield shir
Gavin Marshall, Bristol Sport Group CEO, told supporters: “Obviously we are really disappointed that we were unable to secure survival on our return to the top flight, but really proud of all the players and staff who have given everything all season.
“We knew this would be a challenging campaign, and we’d like to thank you for your incredible backing both on the road and at our home, Ashton Gate, where we will be playing all our Championship matches again next season and we hope to see you in the stands again.
“In another record-breaking year for the women’s game, we, and all of you, should be proud of the work and dedication that has gone into the continued growth of our game in Bristol, the South West and beyond.
“The same goes for the players, many of whom have shone this season and proved beyond doubt that they deserve to be playing at the top level. We have the youngest squad in the division, and while we knew from the outset that it would be an immense challenge to compete with the top teams in the country, there have been times where we’ve gone toe-to-toe with the best of the best.
“Lauren Smith has our full backing, and we firmly believe she is the best person to help us replicate last year’s achievements of winning the Championship and returning to the Women’s Super League.
“In the meantime, we still have our final home game of the season against Everton on May 18th and I know the team will be working as hard as ever to secure victory at Ashton Gate."
