Bristol has been designated in Tier 3 – Covid-19 Very High Alert category – meaning games in BS3 will continue to be played behind closed doors.

Bath and North East Somerset Council (BANES) has been categorised in Tier 2 – Covid-19 High Alert – meaning a percentage of supporters can be allowed into Bath City’s Twerton Park ground, City Women’s home for this season, subject to national restrictions.

The tier classifications will regularly be reviewed, with the next opportunity on December 16th.

Bristol City Chief Executive Officer and City Women Chairman Mark Ashton told fans: “Obviously, everyone’s safety is the top priority but we are frustrated that you are still not allowed back at Ashton Gate despite the stadium being ready for socially distanced attendance since the summer.

“We continue to look forward to welcoming you back when permitted and we’ll inform you on how we plan to do that as soon as the tier classification allows.

“We will work with Bath City FC and BANES to determine the best approach for allowing our City Women supporters back and details will be announced in due course.

“Thank you all for your continued support and patience. Please stay safe and we look forward to having you back with us when we can.”

City men’s games, except those away matches selected for Sky broadcast, will continue to be shown on Robins TV.
