Davies signs deal with City Women.

The Welsh midfielder arrived at the club in the summer of 2021 as a non-contracted player and has now penned professional terms at City, with the option of a further year this summer.

Davies, who has previously plied her trade at Cardiff City Ladies, linked up with the Robins at the start of the campaign whilst continuing her rehabilitation from a knee injury sustained last season.

22-year-old Davies made her full debut for City at Ashton Gate in the Robins’ 3-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers.

Speaking to Robins TV, Davies said: “Since arriving at the club the summer everyone has made me feel at home here in the West Country.

“I’d like to thank Lauren and the club for giving me the opportunity to come to Bristol City, work through my rehab which was tough period, and I’m happy I’ve been able to contribute on the pitch.

“This is my first professional deal and that’s a big achievement. I’m now determined to kick on and develop my game to make to a positive impact on the pitch, which can hopefully lead to more positive results.”
