Driving women's sport with The Wave Bristol.

The Wave is a ‘slice of the ocean’ inland, where people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can experience the many health benefits and pure joy of being in water and waves.

The team there will work closely with Bristol City and Bristol Bears to empower women to take up football, rugby, surfing and bodyboarding, and embrace the ever-growing fan bases of both clubs.

Sarah Farrar, Bristol Sport Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The partnership with The Wave is hugely exciting and one that will use the power of our sporting group to increase women’s participation in a range of sports.

“In 2022 surfing was one of the fastest-growing activities for women and, with the incredible growth of women’s football and rugby in the past 12 months, we’re excited about the potential of this joint drive.”

Tickets are available for Sunday's meeting with Birmingham City at Ashton Gate (3pm) as part of the Women's Weekend of Sport.

Lauren Smith's side return to BS3 to take on Blues Women as part of a thrilling Women's Weekend of Sport, with going head-to-head with Wasps in their opening game of the Allianz Premier 15s on Saturday, November 19th at 3pm.

Each individual match ticket costs £8 for adults and £4 for Under-12s but fans can also purchase a unique joint ticket to watch both games for a discounted price.

The ticket offer can only be redeemed if you add both the Bears Women game and City Women game to your basket. Once they are both added the discount will automatically be applied.
