Loren Dykes MBE has returned to the club as City Women Assistant Coach.

Hall of Fame inductee Dykes replaces Jen Foster who has left her role at the club to pursue a new opportunity.

Having hung up her boots in 2020, the former full-back was a City coach for a season before taking up a role with FA Wales as Assistant Coach to boss Gemma Grainger, as well as overseeing the Under-17s programme.

Dykes, who made over 100 appearances during a 11-year playing spell in the South West, said: "I'm really happy to be back with Bristol City. This club is such a big part of my life and it's so pleasing to see the progress that's been made both on and off the pitch.

"It's an exciting time for the club and the fans as we prepare for life back in the top flight. I'm looking looking forward to what we can all achieve together."

"The club's facilities are second-to-none and there is a strong relationship between the first team and the youth age groups which makes this place so special.
