History
The ground was opened on June 26th, 1909 as Innox Park on land that had been donated by Thomas Carr and became known as Twerton Park, home of Bath City FC in 1932.
Bath City’s stadium was also home to Bristol Rovers during 1986-1996 as well as Team Bath’s football programme during their rise to the Conference South between 1999 and 2009.
Travel and Parking
Address: High Street, Twerton, Bath, BA2 1DB
Car: If travelling from Bristol head towards Bath on the A4. When nearing Bath take the A36 Lower Bristol Road and after one mile turn right under the Railway Bridge (signposted Bath City FC) and into Twerton High Street. Take the 2nd left for the ground entrance.
Parking: There are approximately 150 car park spaces on site at Twerton Park with supporters encouraged to use local street parking in the surrounding areas.
Train: Oldfield Park Railway Station is the nearest station to Twerton Park, being located just under a mile away (BA2 3RS). It is served by trains from Bath Spa, Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway.
Bath Spa (BA1 1SU) has a more regular service from London Paddington, Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway with the station being located just under two miles away from the ground.
Bus: Twerton Park is also accessible via bus from Bristol. The First in Bristol, Bath & the West service (Line 39 bus) runs from Bristol, City Centre Station and takes approximately 46 minutes. Supporters would be advised to exit the bus at Newbridge, Charmouth Road station and complete the remainder of the journey on foot (10 mins).
Concessions
There are a number of concessions stands based at Twerton Park providing supporters with ample options to purchase hot food and drinks in both the main stand and via the adjacent terrace.
Twerton Park also hosts a variety of bars within the main stand to allow supporters to purchase a variety of soft and alcoholic drinks on matchday.
