On Wednesday, January 29th, during the Adobe Women’s FA Cup clash between Arsenal and Bristol City at Meadow Park, Bristol City Robins Foundation were honoured with a 'No More Red' white shirt presentation.

The special half-time pitch side ceremony saw the Foundation's CEO Dan White and City's Head of Women’s Football Romaney Pinnock accept the award in recognition of the Foundation’s ongoing work to create positive opportunities for young people in Bristol.

The No More Red campaign, launched by Arsenal and Adidas, is a powerful initiative aimed at tackling youth violence and providing safe spaces for young people. As part of the campaign, Arsenal has pledged to support organisations and individuals using sport and education to create a safer future for young people. This builds on 40 years of Arsenal in the Community’s work, helping to keep young people safe from knife crime and youth violence.

Unlike any other Arsenal shirt, the No More Red white shirt is never commercially available—it is earned by those making a meaningful impact in their communities. The shirt symbolises a commitment to:

  • Providing young people with more safe spaces and opportunities
  • Highlighting the devastating effects of youth violence
  • Recognising organisations making a real difference

The Robins Foundation has long been at the forefront of community outreach in Bristol, delivering programmes that support young people through education, mentorship, and sport.

After accepting the award, Dan spoke about the significance of this recognition:

"At the Robins Foundation, our goal is to use football and education to give young people opportunities they might not otherwise have. Whether it's mentoring, sports programmes, or providing safe spaces, we are committed to helping young people make positive life choices, it’s a huge honour for the us to receive this recognition.

"The ‘No More Red’ campaign carries such an important message, and we are proud to be aligned with a cause that stands for protecting young people and creating positive opportunities for their futures."

Romaney said:

"Football clubs have a huge platform, and campaigns like No More Red show just how powerful the game can be when it comes to making an impact. This isn’t just about sport—it’s about giving young people hope, guidance, and a safer future."

The Robins Foundation’s recognition at one of the biggest fixtures in the women’s football calendar highlights the impact of their work in Bristol and beyond. The No More Red white shirt serves as a symbol of change, and its message will continue to inspire the Foundation, Bristol City Women, and the wider community to keep driving forward opportunities for young people.
