On the back of a crucial home win over London City Lionesses, the Manchester United loanee is hoping to capture the ‘buzz within the camp’ and continue the Robins’ impressive home record.
She said: “After Wednesday’s game, if we can keep our momentum going, we’re in a good place.
“Sunday is just as important as Wednesday and we want to go on and get as many three points as we can between now and the end of the season.
“We’re full steam ahead. Every game is just as important as the next and we don’t want to drop off and we don’t want to lose any momentum.”
The Rooks have taken points off all of the other three sides in the top four of the Barclays Women’s Championship, and Lauren Smith’s side will be well-aware of their threats.

“I expect Lewes to be well put together,” continued Clinton. “They made some good signings in January and we’re expecting a tough game but we’re at the Robins HPC and if we can stick to our game plan then I expect things to go to plan.
“Any team can take points off anyone else, and you have to be on it every single day because it’s a really competitive league. If we can carry on our momentum and take the buzz from within the camp, then we’re in for a good second half of the season.”
Since her arrival in BS8, Clinton has already nodded home two crucial goals in Red and White.
“It was nice to get a goal against Coventry United on my debut, but since then I haven’t really been in the squad due to injuries and suspension,” added the 19-year-old.
“Now I’m back and the game on Wednesday was my first 90 minutes for the club so hopefully it’s easy-breezy from here on in.
“As long as I’m contributing to the team and we’re winning games then I’m happy because it’s set to be a big second half of the season.”
