Harrison went into the game against Durham needing just the one goal to claim the record, and the Scot did just that with ten minutes on the clock after she cooly lifted the ball over the keeper when Mel Johnson played a looping ball over the top.
However, the City striker didn't stop there as she got her second of the game minutes before the break after Ella Powell delivered a pinpoint ball into the striker's feet from the right wing and Harrison made no mistake in smashing the ball into the back of the net.
Speaking to Robins TV, Harrison said: "It's what I want to do as a striker, scoring goals, long may it continue.
"I go into most games knowing the opportunities are going to come because I play with great players so it's up to me to take those opportunities and I have managed to do that.
"I probably could have had a couple more today but I've got two and the second goal is unbelievable team play so I get the nice job of finishing it.
"We've got a few games left so I look forward to it."
