Twenty-four-year-old Harrison has taken the FA Championship by storm this campaign, netting 16 goals in all competitions to lead the Robins’ charge to second in the table.
Harrison’s new deal will see her talents stay in BS8 until at least the end of the 2022/23 season, with the option of an additional year if the Robins earn promotion to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.
The Scot’s imperious form in front of goal has earned a recall to the Scotland national team and the forward has carried her strike-rate on to the international stage, scoring two goals in five appearances.
Harrison joins captain Aimee Palmer, Naomi Layzell and Gwen Davies in signing new City deals.
Speaking to Robins TV, Harrison said: “Every time I speak and whoever speaks to me knows how much I love it here. I enjoy the squad, the club and the city – I’m very happy to commit to Bristol City.
“It’s a striker’s job to score goals and I play with brilliant players, so that makes my job easier. I’m happy, I’m enjoying it and I have found my feet after a difficult couple of years.
“At the start of this season it was tough, a bit of rebuild of staff and players but Lauren’s (Smith, head coach) done a brilliant job and the team behind the team have made us fantastic.
“We go into every game believing we can win and we play exciting football. I think you’ll see that we enjoy it – we’ve got a great group and there is still so much we can do together.”
