The club's all-time record goalscorer marked her 100th City appearance on a historic afternoon in BS3, as she found the net to help Lauren Smith's side clinch the Barclays Women's Championship title in April.

With 38 goals to her name in red and white, the Scotland international will be looking to continue her fine spell and lead the line on a return the top flight.

"I'm delighted to extend my stay at this club. Since I walked through the door it’s felt like home and I can’t wait to continue this journey," she said.

"Signing a new deal was a no brainer. I've been through a lot with this club and the fans and we've always supported each other, so when the offer to stay was there it was an easy decision."

Head Coach Lauren Smith added: "Abi is a brilliant player and big character in our squad. We're delighted to extend her contract and I know she will be a huge part of what we do next season."
