Hayley Ladd Injury Update.

Current Bristol City Women's captain and Welsh International Hayley Ladd was substituted at half time during a recent WSL 2 fixture after sustaining a suspected knee ligament injury.

Later assessments have now revealed that the Vixens captain has sustained a sprain of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) which may cause the player to be side lined for a number of weeks.

BCWFC's medical team are able to report that Hayley has made good progress since sustaining her injury and has since been referred to the FAW for further assessment and possible treatment.

Hayley is expected to return to Bristol after the international break to complete the later stages of her rehabilitation with the aim of being fully fit for the next round of WSL 2 fixtures.
