On her full debut in City colours, the midfielder provided the assist for Abi Harrison late on after Emily Syme had opened the scoring early in the second half.
And after putting in a rock-solid 90-minute display, the 34-year-old spoke highly of the team performance.
“My body will be a bit sore but I’m just really happy with the win, the clean sheet and the resilience of the girls today was fantastic,” she said.
“I just want to contribute in any way I can to this team. They are a fantastic group of girls, and you know it was great to get out there today and help us get over the line, and hopefully I contributed.
“The girls have impressed me from day one, and if I can help bring in a bit of experience to get us over the line then that’ll be fantastic. From back to front today we defended for our lives and we really attacked with passion and belief, I think it was thoroughly deserved.
“We’ve got to get together as a whole team and as a collective and try and win that first tackle, win the first and second balls, and I think today we really pushed each other on and made sure we did that."
