'It's a step in the right direction' - Purfield.

"That was our main focus tonight, we kept saying that if we do get the win it gets us off the bottom which was a massive motivator for us," said Purfield.

"The girls showed the fight throughout the game in the first and second half - we had spells of brilliance, which led to the goals and throughout the game we knew we had enough to get the win. 

"It was fantastic to give the fans at at home an entertaining game on International Women's Day - it was probably even exciting for the neutrals. 

"We have got to keep our feet on the ground. This is the first three points and we have still got a big two months to go but it's a step in the right direction. It's a fantastic result that hopefully we can build on moving forward."
