BCWFC are known as the Vixens and play at the Stoke Gifford Stadium. The club has just been promoted to The FA Women’s Super League 1, which is the top tier of women’s football in England. This provides an exciting opportunity to engage and inspire young women and fans across the region.

The club boasts an effective player development pathway through our FA Girl’s Regional Talent Centre, the college programme at SGS College and our links to HE programmes run by our partners. The club also runs many community initiatives such as weekly Skills Centre sessions and the Sister Club programme.

We now need an ambitious and dynamic General Manager to oversee all activity within the club.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Business development
• Planning and delivery of fixtures and match day operations
• Production and management of budgets
• Providing support to and liaising with coaching and management teams
• Overseeing delivery and development of community programmes
• Ensuring compliance with both national and club-level policies

You will have:

• Demonstrated management experience, preferably in a sporting context
• Proven business development experience
• Strong leadership skills and be able to work on own initiative as required
• Willingness to travel and work weekends and week-nights (mainly to attend football matches)
• Ability to work effectively within strict deadlines and a fast paced environment
• Plenty of budgeting experience with the ability to develop and monitor budgets
• Strong communication skills
