Job Vacancy: RTC Assistant Coach U12.

Bristol City Women FC have an exciting opportunity to join the Female RTC as Under 12 Assistant Coach.

Bristol City Women FC have four teams within the RTC. The successful candidate will coach at under 12 female level and will be able to demonstrate the ability to design, deliver and review coaching sessions in line with the clubs’ curriculum.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Youth Development Manager and will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic, hardworking, and be flexible to the requirements of the position and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high quality coaching and support
  • Implementing training and games programme in line with Bristol City FC playing guidelines
  • Liaise with the assistant coach to produce session plans for all sessions.
  • Working alongside the assistant coach to produce and deliver Player assessments.
  • Ensuring the Bristol RTC philosophy and ethos is followed at all times.
  • Ensuring effective communication between all departments including medical staff is continuous throughout the season.
  • To adhere to the FA Safeguarding and equality policies and procedures.
  • To adhere to the FA and Bristol RTC codes of conduct at all times.
  • To adhere to the Bristol City RTC Data Protection Policy and Privacy Policy.
  • Communicate with DISE partner and lead the WSL DISE education programme

Personal Characteristics and Experience

Essential

  • FA coaching level 2 qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Driving license with full access to vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS CRB Check
  • First Aid qualification/BFAS
  • Child Protection
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Experience working with children from a secondary school age range
  • Experience working a sporting specific environment

Desirable

  • FA coaching level 3 / UEFA B qualification
  • Working knowledge of Bristol City RTC programme
  • Experience of elite female football or development centres
  • Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating a sport delivery programme

The role will cover two evenings sessions per week – Training between 6pm – 8pm and Fixtures played on Saturday mornings.

The role is hourly rate on a sessional contract.
