Johnson signs on loan.

Bristol City have signed Olivia Johnson on a season-long loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 18-year-old forward has represented England at Under-17 level and made her Barclays WSL debut against Bristol City at Ashton Gate in March 2023.

Johnson made five league appearances for the Seagulls last season and is Charlotte Healy’s 11th signing of the summer.

On signing for Bristol City, Johnson said: “It feels very good to be here and I’m excited to get to know the rest of the players.”

Head Coach Charlotte Healy added: “OJ is a really exciting young player who I’m really excited for the fans to see.

“She is a different type of forward to what we currently have here, but I think she’ll fit into our style of play fantastically.

“She’s a young player who has scored a lot of goals in her youth career, so after spending time in Brighton’s First Team I’m excited to see her now get her opportunity in senior football in what will be an exciting WSL2 season.”
