Ladd, 23, broke the deadlock against the Women’s Euros 2017 finalists Portugal en route to an impressive 2-1 win.

The former Arsenal defender danced inside a defender before sending an unstoppable 30-yard shot into the top corner in the international friendly.

Ladd’s City team-mates Loren Dykes and Georgia Evans were also involved in the match.

Wales are due to meet Portugal once more on Sunday as preparation for their ongoing World Cup qualifying campaign.
