City Women are dedicating their Adobe Women's FA Cup Third Round fixture against Liverpool to local charity Jessie May Children's Hospice at Home.

Jessie May provides specialist nursing care for children with life limiting conditions. The charity offers end-of-life care and bereavement support, as well as vital respite sessions and emotional support to those in children's families. This allows families to make the most of the precious time they have together and to create treasured family memories.

Currently supporting over 190 children and families across the South West, the charity operates as an at-home hospice for children and families and the extraordinary work they do should not go unnoticed.

We will welcome children and families cared for by Jessie May as well as some staff to Ashton Gate this Sunday. The attendees will have a special meet and greet with the players ahead of kick-off.

Keep an eye out for Jessie May representatives who will be in attendance and collecting donations.

City Women players and staff recently visited the charity where they were given an insight into the work that they do, why it is important and what impact it has on the families they work with.
