Champions League winner Vicky Losada has signed a three-year deal at Bristol City.
The midfielder has spent the last two years as club captain of Brighton in the Barclays Women’s Super League, making 47 appearances.
She won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2021, as well as six Liga F titles in Spain.
Losada has also made 65 appearances for Spain during her international career.
City Women Head Coach Charlotte Healy said: “To get a player of Vicky’s calibre shows what we are aiming for, and I am delighted she is here.
“We knew WSL and WSL2 clubs wanted to sign Vicky, so we are really happy that she chose Bristol City. All her experience and talent will help elevate us as a group and we’ve seen that already this week in training.”
On signing for City, the 34-year-old said: “It’s a good moment for Bristol City and I want to be a part of it and make this club grow.
“I know what it takes to be part of a winning team, and we want to enjoy the journey too.”
